Urgent UKGC changes for the UK market

Videoslots no longer accept players from the UK targeted via Direct mail, Email, SMS, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc

We are doing this news to inform you of some important changes Videoslots is making regarding marketing sources in the UK and what is acceptable and what is NOT, based on the guidelines set out by the UKGC regarding this.

As of today, we no longer accept any traffic from the UK if they stem from Direct mail, Email, SMS, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other form of social media.

Starting today, the only forms of marketing that we will accept for the UK are Twitch, Opted-in newsletters (website sign-ups etc), PPC and SEO.

The reason behind this is that the UKGC no longer accepts any kind of targeting to players that might be self-excluded and are taking a very hard line on any adverts that may be seen by children or are seen as being child-friendly. It is up to us, as an operator, to make sure that all targeted players are active and not in any way self-excluded and that we ensure we do not appeal or advertise to children in any way. UKGC regulations and responsible gaming must take first place over financial gains or profit-making, and therefore, Videoslots is banning these forms of marketing as a way of keeping control.

Please make sure you start following this practice going forward, not doing so may lead to penalties, closed accounts or even possibly cancellation of contract if we find that you have not abided by this.

We appreciate your cooperation greatly in this – thank you!
